CHAN ' Orange Man Of The Tournament, in recognition of the Enugu
Rangers boy's heroic performances while helping Nigeria to win the
bronze in their first outing in the competition.
Uzoenyi was named Man-of-the-Match in three of the six matches played by the Super Eagles at the tournament. The dumunitive play-maker won the official Orange Man-of-the-Match consecutively in Nigeria's match versus South Africa, Mozambique and Morocco.
MVP, Uzoenyi, also scored three goals, with four assists in the competition, one goal short of South Africa's Bernard Parker who won the Orange highest goal scorer award with four goals.
Super Eagles also added on the Fair Play award to the their bronze medal, thus making Nigeria' first CHAN outing a remarkable one in South Africa.
