Keshi: I Have Nothing Against Osaze

-Eagles coach says he is committed to the World Cup in Brazil

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi in a shocking interview revealed that he has nothing against Stoke City of England forward Osaze Odemwingie despite not willing to call him up for the 2014 FIFA World Cup billed to hold in Brazil next summer.

The reigning African Coach of the Year who spoke to Complete Sports at the weekend said he is a friend to every Nigerian player and would be willing to call only the players that will contribute to his team’s progress in Brazil though confirmed again that the former West Brom striker has tendered apology for his wrong doing.

“Every time you ask me about Osaze, let me tell you, I have nothing against Osaze or any player, I am a friend to all the players but you must realize that I have a job to do and I have to do it the way I will feel satisfied and other Nigerians as well”, says the former Togo national team gaffer
“Yes, I said it that he has apologized and that is it and that ends the chapter but for God sake, Osaze is not the only player we have in Nigeria and we should all be supportive in everything we do so that the team can excel at the World Cup.

Keshi who refused to mention a name in the likely 35 players that will be called to camp for the 2014 FIFA World Cup camping in the United States of America said players that will be focused, show enough commitment, hard working and ready for team work will be invited.

“Let’s wait and see but I can assure you that we are going to invite players that will be ready to show enough commitment, focus and hard work.

FIFA has set May 13 as deadline for the submission of provisional list of every country and the Nigeria Football Federation has warned Keshi to ensure Nigeria did not miss the date.
