Nigeria defender Godfrey Oboabona has been listed in Rizespor’s 21-man squad for tonight’s second round Turkish Cup clash away to a Regional Amateur League side Tekirdaðspor.
The 24-year old who is yet to feature for his club this season after returning to the club injured while on duty for the Super Eagles may make his first start of the campaign.
The former Sunshine Stars defender played 19 games and scored three goals in his debut season at the club.
Oboabona is expected to be included in Coach Stephen Keshi’s squad to face Sudan in next month’s AFCON qualifiers.
