Champions League: Manchester City take on Bayern Munich in Group D

Bayern Munich proved too strong in first meeting at Etihad Stadium
Manchester City travel to Bayern Munich with top spot in Group D of the Champions League up for grabs.

Bayern and City have already secured qualification for the knockout stages after running away with Group D.
City have recorded their best performance in the group stages after failing to make the last 16 in the previous two seasons.
Defending champions Bayern have registered victories in all five of their group games so far and are three points ahead of City.
Pep Guardiola's side earned a dominant 3-1 win at the Etihad Stadium earlier in the campaign and City would need to better that result in the Allianz Arena to leapfrog them and secure top spot.
Bayern have become the first team in Champions League history to win 10 games in a row after their victory against CSKA Moscow last time out.
Joe Hart will return to the starting line-up for City and he will have a point to prove as he aims to win back his first-team spot in Manuel Pellegrini's side even though he has kept just one clean sheet in his last 10 Champions League appearances.
