After spending just two months with a Turkish side, the defender has returned to his former side
Former Enugu Rangers defender Chibuzor Madu will rejoin the team as soon as he is back in the country.
Madu moved to Turkey to join a second division side Kharammaspor, but the contract has been cancelled when a new coach and management took over some weeks ago.
Goal learnt that the new coach refused to play Madu in any of the three games played in the season where the team were rooted at the bottom of the league table.
Madu told Goal that it was one chapter he would like to forget in his life as a footballer, even though he will go back to Rangers to finish the season with them.
"The moment I come back, I will start playing for Rangers again. But I want to forget what happened in Turkey.
"I signed a contract with the second division side and I was hoping to start a new career in football. I trained very well. I played in almost all the friendly matches.
"I was set to make my mark when the manegement and coach were changed. I thought it was a normal thing since the change was for something good.
"I started noticing so a lot of things during training sessions when the coach will behave as if I am not a player in the team.
"The man later advised the manegement that I should be dropped and replaced with another player. I thought it was a joke until they told me I had to go.
"But they agreed to pay me off and there is no problem with them. I am coming back to rejoin Rangers for the remaining part of the season," Madu noted.
He was one of the best defenders for the Enugu side the ensured the team beat CS Sfaxien in the Confederation Cup before they were disqualified.
