Erstwhile Super Eagles handler, Austine Eguavoen has stated unequivocally that the team will get better ahead of their participation in next summer's World Cup finals in Brazil.
Eguavoen, a member of member of the Super Eagles squad that made their debut at the 1994 World Cup in the United States, said moments after watching the side secure their passage to Brazil 2014, that he expects the team to improve at the tournament.
“I want to start by congratulating the Super Eagles for qualifying for next year's World Cup in Brazil" he begins.
"It was indeed a long and tourtuous journey but kudos to our boys and the technical crew for weathering the storm and putting smiles on the faces of soccer fans in the country.
The team has a lot of potentials and I hope they do improve and do well in the competition proper in Brazil.
"Now we have enough time to prepare for the competition and I believe the team will become stronger and make the nation and Africa proud,''he stated.
