Victor Anichebe on target for West Brom

The Nigerian scored his second league goal for the Baggies as he rescued a point for his team against Brendan Rodger’s men in the English Premier League

Super Eagles striker, Victor Anichebe came off the bench to score a goal for West Brom in their 1-1 draw with Liverpool at the Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon.
Anichebe, a deadline transfer to the Baggies from Everton for £6million came on for Saido Berahino in the 64th minute and scored the equaliser in the 67th minute.
Kolo Toure misguided decision to attempt a pass across his box was punished by Anichebe who gleefully fired the ball past Simon Mignolet to bring Pepe Mel's men level.
Daniel Sturridge had put Liverpool ahead in the 24th minute after converting a cross from Luis Suarez.
The bulky Nigerian last scored for West Brom on December 4, 2013 in their 3-2 defeat to Manchester City.
