Emenike, Osaze, Mba Fire World Cup Goal Alert


--Ajagun, Ofere also on target; Babatunde Michael wins

ENGLAND
Osaze Odemwingie (Stoke City): Super Eagles striker, Osaze Odemwingie scored a brace for Stoke City in their 3-1 win over West Ham United. The former Cardiff out-spoken forward was first on target in the 32nd and 79th minutes and was on from start to finish.  He has played six games and scored thrice.

Victor Anichebe (West brom): Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe failed to add to his three goals tally despite playing for 89 minutes for West Brom as the recorded their first win of the season under Pepe Mel with a vital 2-1 win at Swansea. The former Everton pplayer was booked in the 26th minute in what was his 19th appearances for the Baggies.

Joseph Yobo (Norwich City): Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo played all 90 minutes as Norwich City lost 4-2 to Southampton. It was his sixth start since joining the Yellow Canaries from Fenerbache.

John Mikel Obi (Chelsea): Nigerian midfielder John Obi Mikel was an unused substitute for Chelsea as they lost 1-0 to Aston Villa. The Super Eagles star, Mikel, has chalked up 19 EPL games and has scored once.

Victor Moses (Liverpool): Super Eagles winger Victor Moses was not benched for the entire duration as Liverpool kept their title bid firmly on track with a 3-0 victory at the home of arch-rivals Manchester United. He has been benched in the Reds lasst two games and last played in their 4-3 win at home to Swansea on the 23rd of February and has played 15 times scoring once.

Shola Ameobi, Sammy Ameobi (Newcastle United): Super Eagles lanky forward Shola Ameobi was a 71st minute substitute for Newcastle United as they lost 1-0 at Fulham. He replaced Pappis Cisse. He is yet to score in  19 EPL games this season. while his brother has nine games to his credit.

Sone Aluko (Hull City): Nigerian winger Sone Aluko was a 46th minute substitute for Hull City as they lost 2-0 at home to Manchester City. Aluko has scored once in 13 EPL games.

Kenneth Omeruo (Middlesbrough): Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo made his fifth start for Middlesbrough as they drew goalless with AFC Bournemouth in the English Championship.

SCOTLAND
Efe Ambrose (Celtic): Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose was on from start to finish as Celtic defeated hosts Kilmarnock 3-0. He has played all games for the Hoops in the SPL this term.

UKRAINE
Babatunde Michael (Volyn): Nigerian winger Babatunde Michael was adjudged the man-on the match in Voly's lone goal victory over Karpaty on Saturday. The Eagles winger to the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, has scored twice in 13 league games.

SPAIN
Ramon Azeez (Almeria): One cap Super Eagles midfielder Ramon Azeez played all 90 minutes for his relegation battlers Almeria who lost 3-1 to Rayo Vallencano.The petit player has scored once in 23 La Liga games.

Nosa Igiebor (Real Betis):Nigerian midfielder Nosa Igiebor was not listed for rock bottom Real Betis claimed a much-needed point from a goalless draw against Elche at Martinez Valero. The draw extended Betis' unbeaten run to five games in all competitions, leaving them nine points from safety, while the point moves the hosts up one place to 13th. The former Hapoel Tel Aviv player has now played nine La Liga games and scored once.

GERMANY
Chinedu Obasi (Schalke 04): Nigerian international Chinedu Obasi was a 46th minute substitute for Schalke 04 in a 2-1 win at Augsburg. Obasi who was on target last week has now played seven Bundesliga games.

ITALY
Nnamdi Oduamadi (Varese): In form Super Eagles winger Nnamdi Oduamadi saw 90 minutes of action for Varese in their 3-0 loss at  home to Padova in the Italian Serie B on Saturday. The Eagles star who has two goals in six appearances.

Joel Obi (Parma): Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi replaced Marco Marchionni in the 72nd minute and was booked three minutes later as Parma defeated AC Milan 4-2 at the San Siro. He has played five games since joining on loan from Inter Milan.

Ogenyi Onazi (SS Lazio): Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi replaced Alvaro González in the 81st minute as Lazio  defeated Cagliari 2-0 at the San Elia stadium. The AFCON hero has played 23 Serie A games.

TURKEY
Emmanuel Emenike (Fenerbache): Super Eagles forward Emmanuel Emenike scored his tenth league goal of the season for Fenerbache in the 2-1 win over at home to Erciyesspor. The Nigerian international shot the Yellow Canaries into the lead one minute after Edinho had restored parity for the visitors in the 63rd minute.

Michael Eneramo, Joseph Akpala (Karabukspor): Nigerian striker Michael Eneramo saw 90 minutes of action as Karabukspor drew goalless with Galatasaray. The burly forward has three goals in seven appearances while his compatriot Akpala who wasn't dressed for the clash has scored four goals in 11 appearances.

Godfrey Oboabona (Rizespor): Super Eagles defender, Godfrey Oboabona returned to Rizespor's starting line up and saw action for the entire duration in their 2-2 draw against Besiktas. It was his 12th  game of the season albeit scoring once.

RUSSIA
Ahmed Musa (CSKA Moscow): Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa fired blanks for CSKA Moscow who pipped Zenit St.Petersburg by a lone goal on Saturday. The former VVV Venlo forward has played 16 games and has scored five times.

PORTUGAL
Chidi Osuchukwu (SC Braga); John Ogu (Academica): Former Flying Eagles star Chidi Osuchukwu made his debut for Sporting Braga in a 1-1 draw at Academica de Coimbra who didn't list John Ogu in the Portuguese top flight on Friday.  The former Dolphins midfielder was a 59th minute substitute for Colombia's Erik Andres Moreno. Osuchukwu was promoted to the main team after a good display with the Sporting Braga II, where he had played 21 games with two goals.

Femi Balogun, Christian Obodo (Olhanense): Former Super Eagles midfielder Christian Obodo was on from the start for Olhanense but came off in the 56th minute in his team 2-0 away lose. The game was Obodo’s seventh of the campaign. His Nigerian team-mate, Femi Balogun who has 21 games under his belt with just a goal, was not listed for the match.

ISREAL
Juwon Oshaniwa,Yero Bello (FC Ashdod): Nigerian left back Juwon Oshaniwa was an unused substitute for FC Ashdod in a 1-1 draw away to Hapoel Acre. His compatriot Yero Bello who scored a brace last weekend was caged for the entire duration of play. Bello has scored six times so far in 24 appearances while Oshaniwa has chalked up 20 appearances.

Austin Ejide (Hapoel Be'er Sheva): Super Eagles second choice goal keeper Austin Ejide conceded his 19th  goal of the season between the sticks for Hapoel Be'er Sheva who lost by a lone goal to Hapoel Ra'anana on Saturday. He has kept 11th clean sheet of the season for Hapoel Be'er Sheva so far this season. Sheva are currently second on the log with 59 points from 26 games. He has featured in all games for his team.


FRANCE
Vincent Enyeama (Lille): Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama kept his 18th clean sheet of the season for Lille this season who maintained their foothold on third place in Ligue 1 with a goalless draw  against Nantes. The former Maccabi Tel Avi shot stopper has conceded 18 goals in 29 games.
Elderson Echiejile (AS Monaco): Super Eagles defender Elderson Echiejile was missing in action as Monaco defeated Olympique Lyonnais 3-2 away on Sunday. He is yet to feature for the French side in the Ligue 1 since joining in January.
Sunday Mba (CA Bastia): Nigerian midfielder Sunday Mba scored his second Ligue 2 goal of the season for CA Bastia in a 1-0 win over Troyes. It was his ninth game in the Ligue 2

GREECE
Abduljeleel Ajagun (Panathinaikos): Former Flying Eagles skipper Abduljeleel Ajagun set scored Panathinaikos' only goal in the 36th minute as they pipped Pas Giannina by a lone goal. It was his fourth strike in the Greek league in 17 appearance.

Michael Olaitan (Olympiakos): Recuperating Nigerian midfielder Michael Olaitan was missing in action for Olympiakos who defeated Panthrakikos 2-0. The ex-Flying Eagles midfielder has played 16 times for Olympiakos, with eight strikes.

Ayodele Adeleye (Ergotelis): Nigerian defender Ayodele Adeleye featured in his fourth straight game for Ergotelis as they defeated Asteras Tripolis to a 3-2 away. The 2010 World Cup defender saw action for the full 90 minute.

DENMARK
Edward Ofere (Vestsjaelland): Nigerian forward Edward Ofere scored his second goal of the season for Vestsjaelland as they defeated Nordsjaelland 2-1 away. Ofere who was on the score-sheet last weekend, scored in the 51st minute to seal victory for his team. He was however booekd in the 45th minute.

BELGIUM
Michael Uchebo (Cercle Brugge), Kehinde Fatai (Club Brugge): Super Eagles forward Michael Uchebo played his 27th league game but could not prevent his team from losing 2-0 away to Club Brugge. The one-cap Super Eagles player who has five goals, came off for Stephen Buyl in the 61st minute. His Nigerian counterpart Kehinde Fatai was not named in Club Brugge squad for the encounter.
