John Utaka's brace lifts Sivasspor



The Nigeria international found the back of the net twice to announce his return from injury into the starting squad of his Turkish club on Sunday
Striker John Utaka scored a brace as Sivasspor defeated Gaziantepspor 3 - 2 in the 27th round of games in the Turkish Super League on Saturday.

The 32-year old striker found the back of the net on either side of the half to improve his outfit's scoring form that have only managed four goals in the last four matches and picked just a point out of a possible 16.
Utaka who was out for almost five weeks only returned to action last week against Kayseri Erciyesspor.

The Nigerian who made a return to the starting team ensured an instant impact for Sivasspor and relief for manager Roberto Carlos in the encounter at the Eylül Stadyumu.
Utaka opened scoring in the 15th minute and also scored the winner for Sivasspor in the final minute of injury time of the second half.

The victory saw Sivasspor climb to fourth on the table with 40 points.
