Kanu Unveils N10m Football Tv Show


--Season one ends in September 2014
Former Super Eagles captain Nwankwo Kanu through his pet charity organisation, Kanu Heart Foundation, KHF, Wednesday launched a TV reality football show tagged ‘The Ultimate Naija Soccer Fan TV Reality Show’ in Lagos.

Season One of the show is slated to end in September 2014 with the former Arsenal of London and Inter Milan of Italy leggy forward promising to ensure continuity of the project.

Winner of the first edition of the The Ultimate Naija Soccer Fan TV Reality Show will smile home with a Jeep and N5m cash prize while the runner-up will collect N3m cash as well as a car just as the third place winner will go home with N1m cash and a Keke Maruwa.

“The project is all aimed at rewarding the fans and to say thank you to the fans that pay money to watch their teams and at times cry when their darling team loses”, Papilo said.

The TV reality show which is being co-packaged by De Soccer Richweb Limited is already attracting partnership interests from many banks and corporate outfits, according to Pastor Onyebuchi Abia, overseer of the project.

Abia who is also the Secretary of Kanu Heart Foundation KHF provided more insight into the TV Reality Show.

“The show is aimed at rewarding the football fans for their loyalty, passion and financial contribution to the game.

“We want to use it to provide jobs for the youths, make money available to the fans for developmental purposes because we have the fan base in the country.

“It provides a unique opportunity for the fans to show their love and knowledge of the home teams—Enyimba, Heartland, 3SC, Stationary Stores, Rangers, Kano Pillars among others including European teams”.
