Béla Guttmann, the coach of SL Benfica won 2 UCL trophies in 1961 and 1962. After his success, he requested for a pay raise from the club's board which was turned down by the club. He left the club in anger and cursed them,
"Not in a hundred years from now will Benfica ever be European champion."
