NFF Refer Ogunjobi's Ban to Appeal Committee

--As former NFA scribe demands justice

Former Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Association, NFA, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi has been handed a respite after football house referred his case to the Appeal Committee.
Ogunjobi had been slammed with an outrageous 10-years ban by NFF citing the Osun State FA chairman's alleged involvement in junior international, Kayode Olarewaju's transfer hiccups out of ASEC Mimosa of Ivory Coast which the onetime NFF Technical Committee boss has
vehemently denied.

But at its Annual General Assembly in Warri, Delta State on Thursday, NFF referred the matter to its newly appointed Appeal Committee to take a proper look at the case.

"Let’s keep our fingers crossed. It’s good that one has gotten opportunity to be heard, at least due process is being followed on the matter," Ogunjobi said.

"The case was not on the agenda of the AGM but it was finally referred to the Appeal Committee," the FIFA/CAF Match Commissioner added.
