WWE Raw: Big Show flattens Randy Orton; Daniel Bryan attacks HBK

Orton: shellacked by Big Show on Raw
A champion was knocked out and a legend tapped out on a gripping edition of Raw.

Randy Orton took to the ring in Orlando to celebrate winning the WWE Championship at Sunday's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, but as the Viper basked in his glory, Big Show crashed his party.
The World's Largest Athlete hurtled down the ramp and, after the Usos and WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust had dispensed with the Shield, flattened Orton with a knockout punch.
Orton's victory inside Hell in a Cell came after special guest referee Shawn Michaels had levelled Daniel Bryan with Sweet Chin Music - and the Heartbreak Kid took time to address his actions on Raw.
The Showstopper told Bryan, the man he once trained, that his kick was not pre-planned and was just a spontaneous reaction to seeing his best friend Triple H kneed in the head by the submission specialist.
Bryan, though, refused to believe Michaels - who retired from in-ring competition following his loss to the Undertaker at WrestleMania 26 - and after dismissing the Icon's attempt at a handshake, administered the "Yes!" Lock on his former mentor and forced him to submit.

Collected

However, the bearded grappler - whose fiancée Brie Bella and her sister Nikki were beaten by Tamina and AJ Lee in a tag-team bout - was then brutally attacked by The Wyatt Family and so was CM Punk, following his victory over Ryback in a Street Fight.
Plus, Damien Sandow cashed in his Money in the Bank contract - and lost.
The Duke of Decency interrupted new World Heavyweight Champion John Cena's speech to the WWWE Universe and after assaulting the Cenation Leader's recently-healed arm, opted to use the title contract he had collected in July.
But despite hitting Cena - who had defeated Alberto Del Rio at Hell in a Cell for his gold - with myriad manoeuvres, Sandow slipped to defeat when his attempt at a piledriver was countered by his opponent and turned into an Attitude Adjustment.
Elsewhere, Shield stars Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns overcame Big E Langston and The Usos in a six-man showdown; Los Matadores continued their dominance over 3MB; and Natalya vanquished Summer Rae with the Sharpshooter.
Rhodes and Goldust, meanwhile, lost a non-title encounter to the Real Americans, and Kane made light work of The Miz - before removing his mask, handing it to Stephanie McMahon and saying: The monster is yours to unleash".
