Crystal Palace Ready To Sign Aluko

Tony Pulis will launch a fresh bid to sign Sone Aluko from Hull if Crystal Palace finish the job and stay in the Premier League.

And the Nigeria striker, 25, has hinted that he is ready to quit the FA Cup finalists this summer.
Aluko’s failure to find a place in the starting 11 for Hull’s 5-3 semi-final triumph over Sheffield United left him disillusioned.

But Pulis is ready to hand him first-team football and will pay the £3.1million City would demand for the marksman.

Aluko said: "It was very frustrating not to start on Sunday. If you are not playing, then you start to wonder, ‘Is this for me? Do I need to find a new club?”

Pulis had hoped to sign Aluko in the January transfer window but the Nigerian international striker signed a two-year contract extension with the Tigers.

Aluko, who was sidelined for four months after tearing his Achilles in Hull’s 2-1 defeat at Everton last October, has become frustrated after making just one start since returning to fitness in February.

“If you are pretty much not playing at all, then you start wondering ‘is this for me? Do I need to find a new club?’ It does go through your head" he said.
