NFF Deny Match -fixing Claim

The Nigeria Football Federation says it will not hesitate to take legal action over claims by a Singaporean, Wilson Raj Perumal that he helped Nigeria to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup by fixing some of their qualifying games.

Ademola Olajire,NFF's assistant media director told Complete Sports Monday night Perumal's claims are spurious and unfounded and will want Nigerians and international football watchers to disregard it as coming from either a man who is drunk or halucinating.

'Perumal is notorious for match-fixing and has been accordingly sentenced for this. His claims that he helped Nigeria qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup should be treated as the rant of a man who has been stripped of all honours and integrity,''said Olajire who reveals the federation is studying the book and will take approriate actions thereafter.
