Eagles star to miss return leg tie at Stamford Bridge following yellow card last night
Nigerian midfielder Mikel Obi will miss Chelsea's second leg clash against Atletico Madrid at Stamford Bridge next Wednesday after being booked in Tuesday's goalless draw at the Vincente Calderon.
The Super Eagles star, who was playing his 53rd game in the competition, was booked by referee Jonas Eriksson in the 75th minute for dissent after a foul by Frank Lampard.
In the English Championship, Kenneth Omeruo played all 90 minutes for Middlesbrough who lost 2-0 Reading at the Madejski stadium. The highly rated defender has played ten games for the Riverside team.
