KALOU: I'M NOT LEAVING LILLE

LOSC Lille forward Salomon Kalou has dismissed the possibility of a
January move away from the club, saying he wants to help conclude an already impressive season for Les Dogues.

The Ivorian has scored six Ligue 1 goals this season, adding two assists, as Lille have kept pace with Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco at the top of the table, and President Michel Seydoux said earlier this week that only an '87 million euro' bid would tempt him to part with the forward. Kalou has now reiterated that sentiment.

"I'm happy here," said the 28-year-old, who signed a four-year contract when he joined from Chelsea in 2012. "Why change clubs mid-season? We started well and I would like to continue until the end. We have a state of mind here which I will not find anywhere else."

Only European champions Bayern Munich boast a better defensive record than LOSC in Europe's major leagues this season, and René Girard's side could move up to second if they beat AS Saint-Étienne on Friday.
