Rangers international of Enugu forward,Ejike Uzoenyi who was voted Man of the Match after scoring a brace in Nigeria's 3-1 spanking of South Africa in their final group A game Sunday night in Cape Town said he believes in the team and says they hope to continue to improve as the competition progresses.
“I believe in this team, we are strong mentally and we will get better with each game,” he said.
“Our loss to Mali (in the first game) was a mistake.
"It a good thing that we won today’s game. Our confidence has grown since the victory in the second game (vs Mozambique) and we came into this game with determination to win."
