Siasia: Eagles Must Prepare Well For Morocco

--Ex-Eagles coach advises Home Eagles ahead Sunday’s CHAN quarter final clash
Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia believes that with adequate preparation, the Home Eagles can beat the Atlas Lions of Morocco in the quarter stage of the 2014 CAF African Nations Championship holding in South Africa.

The Home Eagles who defeated the Bafana Bafana of South Africa 3-1 in the last group game played on Sunday to scale through to the quarter final stage will be facing Morocco who beat Uganda 3-1 to make it through to the stage with the hope of beating the North Africans to qualify for the semi final stage.

“I think the boys are gradually coming up and understanding the tournament but they need to prepare very well if they want to beat Morocco because they are not going to be easy like South Africa. This is a crucial stage and they must work really hard to scale through”, says the former Flying Eagles handler.

“Morocco is one of the tough teams in Africa and the players should expect a tough match from them but going by the way they played against South Africa, if they can improve on that, I am sure that they will scale through.

Siasia however advised the team to be focused and make good use of every opportunity that will come their way in the match billed to hold on Sunday.

“My only advise for them is for the players to be focused, concentrate and be supportive to each other on the pitch. They should play as a team because the game of football is not one man show, the goal can come through any player so they need to work as one and also make good use of every opportunity that come their way in the match”, he concludes
